Tips and Substitutions

- Russet, fingerling, and white or yellow potatoes also work in this recipe. Simply halve or quarter them to nearly the size of a gumball.
- If you prefer larger-size roasted potatoes, start with larger baby potatoes or quarter regular potatoes to your desired size. Adjust the cooking time higher to reflect this change in size. It will likely take 10-15 more minutes of roasting.
- Want to add more flavor pizzazz to your Roasted Ranch Baby Potatoes? Add shredded cheese and cooked bacon pieces 10 minutes before the end of the baking time. They're also great served with grated parmesan cheese on top. Sour cream and chives are also an excellent accent to these simple roasted ranch baby potatoes.
