Halfway To Nashville Hot Chicken
Nashville chicken has become super popular across the country. It’s got a major kick and is delicious! It typically will have a hefty dose of spices and drizzled or doused with hot sauce. This recipe is halfway there. It’s crispy/oven baked and has a slight kick. You can adjust the heat to your taste preference.

Ingredients
- 2-2 ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- Olive Oil spray
- 3 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 cup panko
- 2 teaspoon all-purpose seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Hot Honey or Hot Sauce to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together panko, 1 teaspoon garlic all-purpose seasoning, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle chicken on both sides with remaining 1 teaspoon garlic all-purpose seasoning. On one side of the chicken, brush with 1 teaspoon mayonnaise on each cutlet. Dip each mayonnaise brushed side cutlet into the crumb mixture, pressing firmly, and lay on a non-stick sprayed sheet pan.
- Bake 15 minutes then broil on high 1-2 minutes or until the crust has browned. Ensure the chicken has an internal temperature of 165. Drizzle with Hot Honey or Hot Sauce.
