In reply to Bev. I haven't tried, but I can assume it will impact the texture/flavor quite a bit if omitted. You can try substituting with a granulated sugar alternative like Swerve.

The heavy whipping cream really makes the cobbler.

I used strawberries instead of a mixed fruit blend and it came out so tasty! Love how easy it is!
