This first time I made this recipe for a friend I invited for dinner. We both loved it so much because of the flavors combined with the chicken and simmering in the crockpot. I shared the recipes with her as her daughter was expecting a baby soon and she wanted to make the recipe for them.
I have served this three times for dinner guests.
Favorite is served with pasta rather than mashed potatoes.

In reply to Shanda Minks. I noted under storage and freezing how you can freeze this dish. I like to split the recipe into 4 quart bags and reheat one at a time for dinner.
