I made these amazing biscuits for breakfast this morning. Simple ingredients and easy to follow directions. They were very easy to make. The biscuits were very light and had the highest rise of any biscuit I have ever made. I didn't make the gravy. My husband ate these biscuits with butter and sorghum. He agreed they were best biscuits I ever made. This will be the only biscuit recipe I will ever use again.

In reply to Savannah. I'm so happy you liked them!! :) The salted butter and the self-rising flour already have salt, but you could definitely add a touch more if your palate likes that :) Some folks sprinkle a little on top too.

Easy enough biscuit recipe and the directions were straight forward. My only issue is that the biscuits needed salt and I even used salted butter instead of unsalted butter.

Never made gravy before with self rising flour! Awesome!
