In reply to JoAnn. I don't prefer the flavor olive oil lends to cake...unless I'm making olive oil cake. Yes, you can use butter, the texture will be slightly different but still yummy.

Made this for a few of my neighbors who needed a pick me up from the storms here in Florida. Dropped loafs off while still warm, everyone loved the cake! TY so much for the delicious recipe. ❤️
